Cute Crocheted Mini Top

  

This Video 📹 I came across and couldn't help but admire the top made! When I was in my late teens I taught myself to Crochet thinking it was slightly cooler and different than knitting. 

So as the Video Title states as a Beginner, which I definitely would consider myself. It's been quite awhile but I'm pretty sure things like this are like riding a bike. Even if you haven't done it for years and years if you pick it up it seems to come back to you easily. Although, saying that I picked up an already started project I had found around the house 🏠 so it was kind of cheating because I didn't start the project which is another technique if I remember correctly than just continuing on with one already started. 

So I may have to pay close attention to the video if I want to actually start and finish this cute top. Not only that but make sure it actually looks as it should and even more important that it fits me! I'm quite petite so I will definitely have to account for that when making this. 

When I did learn my intention was to start super simple with a scarf. Funny enough I thought I had the technique down pat until I looked at my scarf that started as a normal size but slowly had gotten smaller and smaller Lol It turns out I had forgotten one very important step and that was to loop it into the start and ending of each line I had done. Now I'm sure my  Crochet terminology is not something I learned so maybe use your imagination with my story and better yet watch the video posted and follow the steps correctly. 

So this is far more than just a simple scarf that I had to actually go back and redo pretty much all of it Lol But lesson learned! So my confidence with completing this and being able to wear it is not super high but it should be fun to try. So wish me Luck! Lol And hopefully you can make one successfully yourself. So before I begin I will still need to pick up some items still. Such as the obvious.. Yarn and I don't imagine I still have a Crocheting needle any longer. So that will be another purchase I will need to make. With lots of sewing items I'm hoping that huge array I have come to acquire should fill the remaining gaps of items needed. Although, I suggest watching the video first to make sure. Make sure to read the description as well. It may just have the items you need listed there.
